Question of the Week: Age Difference

The Question of the Week is:

"Have you ever had a relationship (long or short) with a guy who was quite a bit older or younger than you?  What made it work?  Is there such a thing as too much of an age difference in a relationship?"

  1. Ah...my current wife is 13 years younger than I. We'll be married 31 years this Fall. Does that count?

Had a six month (or so) relationship with a guy who is 7 years older. We're still friends.

Have I had short flings with people older or younger? You bet. Guys and girls. Age has never mattered to me.

    1. It's just a number, right? :-)

    2. It is only a number. As Bryn stated, the connection is what matters. My wife and I still make each other laugh, we always discuss and compromise. Besides, she was very adventurous in the sex department - and still would be if it wasn't for my Muscular Dystrophy. She never belittled the side of me that is attracted to men... In fact, she used to point out the hot dudes when we went anywhere. Now, that's confidence!

    3. You are so right!
Bruce and I truly are partners... we talk, we compromise, we laugh, we argue, we flirt, and we love each other. He is a loving, passionate, sexy man with the confidence of a king.

    4. I am almost blushing after reading these comments.

I guess I learned from the best... my parents. They loved each other for well over 70 years.

    5. That is wonderful about your parents. You two should write a book on how it should be done. I need to order the first copy!

  3. I was never in such a relationship. Age really does not count. Respect and trust are extremely important though from both ends, front and rear!!!I am being very serious, sorry for my Italian sense of humor.

  4. The B Boys waited a bit before chiming in. We aren't really qualified to comment as we have been together so long.

Tony is right...age does not count. It is only a number.
I honestly think that I would be attracted to Bryn if he were much older or younger than me. I fell in love with him not his date of birth. The secret to a happy relationship isn't finding someone you can't live without; it's finding someone you can live with!

    1. That has been my problem. No one must be able to stand to live with me! LOL!

  5. A couple that "works" together is one of the most beautiful things on earth. Two things really appeal to me about this couple:
    1. Both of them are smiling.
    2. That appears to be a wedding ring we see on the mature man shaving.
To this hopeless romantic that is the sexiest thing of all...2 men totally committed to each other.

    1. I also like the intimacy of the image with them both getting ready in the bathroom at the same time. So sweet!
